If you have an event to be held in the Lismore, Nimbin or the surrounding villages we'd love to promote it on our what's on calendar on this website.

add / edit an event

To add an event to the 'what's on' event calendar on this website you must meet the event criteria, adhere to our terms and conditions and register as a member to use this free service.

event criteria

• Occur at a venue or location within the Lismore, Nimbin & villages region i.e. Lismore Local Government Area. High profile events held in the Northern Rivers area will be considered at the discretion of the tourism and events team
• Be open to the general public
• Have broad appeal to visitors and the community
• Be submitted by the event organiser/coordinator or authorised agent
• Be specific, finalised and confirmed prior to submission. Events with dates to be announced or venues to be determined will not be listed
• Have appropriate insurance and approval cover
• Normal attraction schedules with phrases such as ‘tours every weekend’, ‘open over Easter’, ‘simulcasting’ or ‘races nightly’ will not be accepted.
• Events considered as high profile or signature events may be selected to appear on the featured events page of our site.

terms + conditions

• Lismore + Nimbin Tourism is not obliged to include all events registering a submission
• Events may be edited if necessary to ensure the information provided is communicated well, and is consistent in approach with all other event listings
• We reserve the right to edit all listings submitted according to the format and layout of our website
• Successful event submissions will go live on the website within three to five working days of receiving the submission 
• Unsuccessful submissions will be notified by email within five working days
• All images submitted must be your legal property and not copyrighted to a third party
• You are responsible for all content you contribute to visitnimbin.com.au, visitlismore.com.au and cometotheheart.com.au, including text, photos, videos, audio and links (Your Content)
• You confirm you own or have the right to use any copyright material included in Your Content (including music, photos, quotes and excerpts of audio or video), that you have permission of anyone appearing or performing in Your Content and that you are not infringing any person’s rights by submitting the content to visitnimbin.com.au, visitlismore.com.au and cometotheheart.com.au. You also confirm you have, where appropriate, sought the consent of the parent or guardian of any person under the age of 18 who is featured in Your Content
• By contributing content to visitnimbin.com.au, visitlismore.com.au and lovinglismore.com.au, you grant Lismore Tourism + Events a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use your Content in any way that we want, and in any media worldwide. This may include the use of your photos or video on. You retain copyright and any other rights you hold in Your Content and can continue to share and commercialise Your Content as you wish

• Lismore Tourism + Events will endeavour to provide you with an appropriate credit when using Your Content on our platforms, though you understand and agree this may not always be possible.

If your event meets the event criteria above, and you've not previously registered, simply sign up by selecting the 'register here' option below. All you need is an email address and create a username and password.

Once registered you can 'add' or 'edit' your events by using the login below or if your event appears on the website you can also login by using the 'event login' on the page it appears on the website.

The event login is secure and can only be accessed using the event coordinators email address and password.
